I am trying so hard to train him to pee and ppoop in the toilet bowl..so far pee pee is no problem..but need constant reminding...as for the poop..ai yo..with bribing and singing and playing..all no work..
Yeh Yeh..bribe him with Pringles chips (his fav) ..if he pee pee he got 2 chips...and poop got 5 chips...still not working..
Just now..i was reading newspaper..and all of a sudden..RYan is no where to be seen...hmmm...and i heard this "Hmmmhpppppppph...Hmmppppph" someone is in the process of "khek sai" (getting out his shit) at the staircase..hiding..
Walau..me rushing upstairs and carry him down..and strip him down and put him on the toilet seat..
Woah..bit struggle htere...but THANK GOD! it was a success! He did it! FINALLY!

oh boy..everyone is happy...RYan got his 5 chips as promised! and i dun have throw his smelly traning pants in the garbage bin..ai yo..!
We had steamboat yesterday nite...PIL came back from Mississauga with tons of goodies from the asian store overthere... my fridge is soo full!
I miss steamboat back home in Penang..we usually have it every reunion dinner... but overhere..the Loo's family only have it when someone's birthday or get together..soo much different from my family back in Penang.
Steamboat here is soo different...they dun have a variety of balls...like fish balls, meat balls, sotong balls, ...and the meat balls here doesn't really taste good.
Steamboat here practically followed the hong kong style, they have their very own sarcha sauce...where u mix with one raw egg, hoisin sauce and siracha chili sauce....at first , i felt not very comfy with the raw egg in it..but now... "boh hue..hare pung hoo" meaning no fish, prawn also will do la... some hokkien saying ..no complain so much...be thankful..something like that..coz i can't demand so much eh...limited resources here eh..
I better dun complain soo much..especially i get to eat some chili sauce...if not Mamabok will knock my head eh..kekekeke
Anyway, it was a quite dinner yet simple and nice.. :)
MIL back to work today... so today i have to cook...lazy to study ..FIL is babysitting RYan..
He is soo attach to his grandpa whenever daddy is not around..kekekeke..like i said..mommy's role here is to discipline him..coz RYan has 3 ppl to spoil him..
so i cannot afford to spoil him anymore..someone has to take up the dirty job here..

Ryan has grown soo much and i have been busy to post his update. The following are his daily conversation with us:
This happened in Ikea long time ago..i dun even remember the date. As u all know that Ikea do sell frozen yogurt for CND$0.75 ..after we have paid for the stuff we bought from Ikea..we had some yogurt at the cafe b4 we check out.
Ryan loves the yogurt! not only kids eh..this big mama loves it too..hahahaa
Anyway..this is what happened after i bought the yogurt..
Kit: Yau Zhen, daddy wai nei shek, hou mou? (Yau Zhen (RYan's chinese name), daddy feed you, ok or not?)
Ryan: Baby wai (Baby feed : he likes to call himself baby)
Kit: Moi la...cheen kan nei sheek dou yucky yucky....(dun want la, later u ate till ur clothes got dirty)
Both Daddy and son struggle to hold the yogurt ..till Ryan got upset.
Ryan ran over in the middle of aisle in IKEA and standing back facing us and said
RYAN : Baby lau ar! (baby angry ar!) *he even showed his face angrily eh....
US: LOL!
yup..he learned from us as in getting angry..coz everytime when we asked Ryan to do something..he refuses and we said..mommy lau ar..daddy lau ar..mahmah lau ..yeh yeh lau ar..

Ryan loves to play the good side or role..or what we call...playing opposite... whenever ...i let play snow or play water in the bath tub..he will act soo good and said..that is too cold..like copy what i told him b4!

After seeing daddy off..and Ryan said this:

Turning thirty two does not bring a good start for Kit at all. Yesterday was Kit's birthday and we had everything planned out. We were supposed to have KFC family meal (my treat)...and FIL already bought a Black Forest cake from asian store downtown..and even some candles too. I even taught Ryan how to wish and sing his daddy Happy Birthday.
It did not end up good at all...when the snow storm started around noon time yesterday. We had pretty bad weather yesterday again...started with heavy snow non-stop couple with strong gusty wind..then around 2 pm Kit called home asking how was the situation in Hamilton...i told him it was snowing heavily and he told me that his boss told him that if he wanted to go home ..he can do so... I was soo excited when he told me that he could come home early .... (i guess not)
Around 3 pm..Kit called n told me his car slided and went into a ditch.. :( The worst part was he was at the middle of nowhere in Campbleville...not even one soul..except some truck pass by...So i was soo scared and worried and asked him to call CAA or go ask for help..n i dun want to talk long on the phone..coz he needed the cell phone.
I was praying hard...and MIL worried too..kept telling me to call so and soo...walau..made me even more worried...i couldn't think at all...
THank GOD..i calmed myself down..and start to surf around looking for tow services...
after abt 20 minutes i gave Kit a call again..he told me there was a truck pass by and gave a ride to a nearest CAA ...phewwwwwwwwwww... PRAISE THE LORD!
To make the story short... Kit ended up staying over at SIL's place and left his car at CAA garage...coz his radiator broke..and will cost him abt 400 bucks to fix it...woah! we dun have such money to pay eh...so...Kit decided to to leave the car there first and called a taxi to SIL's place..and today...FIL and myself went to buy a new radiator..cost abt 198 bucks... and FIL and Kit are fixing it rite now at SIL's garage (This morning kit and Sil's hubby went to tow the car back from yesterday's CAA's garage- cost kit another 30 bucks..)
SO turning 32 has cost KIT about : tow the car out from ditch $100
: drove the car from the ditch to CAA's garage $50
: check the car..found our the radiator broke..$ 50
: taxi $35
: tow car from CAA's garage to SIL's place $22
: new radiator $225 (included taxes)
so... chit ching! there goes our income tax return money...out and go..hahahaha..
I am not complaining here..I am soo glad that KIT is safe! God really answered my prayers yesterday! I am very thankful! :)
For the past few weeks.. i was under soo much stress...worrying about my nursing course program...i checked the college website whether i am accepted or not daily! Is very frustrating everytime i see the same thing ..which is " NO DECISION" arghhhhhhhhh...
i couldn't sleep good every nite...
I know.. i should leave everything to HIM..and have FAITH in HIM...i know..but..i a big worrier here eh...
I broke down and cried yesterday afternoon while talking to my aunt..or stepmom... she called me and asked me abt the college thingy..she knew i am under tremendous stress ..that's where i couldn't hold it anymore... i just broke down n cried...
COz i felt i am stuck in the middle.. I did all what they asked me to do..i even score the subjects...i don't see why they don't accept me..
I am soo worried that they dun accept me.. coz if that happens..i am stuck..i couldn't go work in business field..coz no one will hire me..as in ever since i graduated from my degree..i haven't been working for 5 years... who will ever hire me...unless i start studying again.. furtheremore business field i couldn't afford to work 9 to 5 job... i have RYan to look after..sigh...so i felt soo stuck..as in i couldn't more forward or turn backword!
Today, i called the program admission officer..she told me the same thing..no decision has been made... have to wait till next week.
Phewwwwwwwww..least i see some dim light here.. for sure i will know next week...yes or no..will be next week!
I never felt soo pressure before in studying situation...maybe because i know Kit is relying me to get into this course and get a job as soon as possible..so that we can move to another and better place and environment ..FOR RYAN!
I am soo eager to have my own career too...the INDEPENDENCE feeling...u know...i can buy anything i wish and want..without thinking twice.
ARGHHHHHHHHH!
Oh God please have mercy upon me and forgive me for not being patient...guide me to the right path and be with me throughout this journey LORD.. I need you and your comfort badly! Teach me and guide me to be more faithful to u and be your servant!

Yippieeeeeeeeee i am on time..i am able to hand in my Unit 2 Psychology, sociology and anthropology ...thanks to FIL! hahaahah....last 3 days i was like chugha chugha chugha chugha chooo...rushing through my way to finish 5 lessons! hahaahah... Omigosh..i am soo stressful now eh..i still didn't hear anything from my application eh... ai yo yo... pls GOD! next week will be the last week to hear from them..if not i have to call them...
Tomorrow i will have the Unit 3 back..hopefully i can finish it within 2 weeks..so that i can get the high school diploma faster ...then i can argue with the college...Pls GOD.. bless my application!

At nite..we had a small party for him..didn't managed to take the cake pic..coz Kit was using camera video instead.. Somemore this weekend will be another 2 full days..coz all in-laws coming over for reunion dinner...well, luckily me not cooking ler..MIL will be the one who cooks..kekeke..of coz the chef cook ler..me only assistant...

Last Saturday started great...where mil and i went to centre mall...it was a great walk...Kit and Ryan stayed home... they decided to play snow instead.
When we got back...kit had made an appointment to go for hair cut at 4.40pm..so we went out around 1 plus just by ourselves ...for the first time..Ryan allowed us to go out!
We got back around 5 plus...and everything went normal..except that FIL had flu on friday liao.. :(
I was so worried that Ryan caught it..but he seems okie on saturday...
around sunday morning 1 am...Ryan had febrile seizure... yea..this seizure cause by fever... this is the second time he had it...the first time was last summer :(
We had to call 911..and spend few hours at the emergency ....
Came back around 5 plus in the morning..didn't get to sleep..i was watching him..all nite..making sure his fever gone down...
I dun like when Ryan is sick...it is soo hard eh...if i can choose..i rather get sick..than him..
Well, sunday whole day , we didn;t get to rest..3 adults making sure that little Ryan is okie...he doesn't want to eat, or drink..that is the worst part...and his fever was like 38, 39 on and off..
on sunday nite...i started with this dry cough...and headache...alamak..my turn pulak..
Kit was soo nice..he sleept with RYan...all nite looking after Ryan for me...so monday he couldn't go to work..coz is his turn to get flu...and myself too
Lucky thing..MIL didn't work this week...so she help us alot..i mean alot!
I really appreciate what she has done here....I thank you...
will give her big hug later when i fully recover...
i am still having this flu bug with me..and the stupid cough...yesterday i coudln't get up from the bed..it was worst last nite...today least i get some strength...to walk around and online :)

I have been very busy lately due to the house renovation. I am not doing the reno but i have to clean and prepare lunch and dinner for everyone, as well as taking care of my little brat.
I have neglected my studies lately due to i am way to tired to study at nite. Sigh, i guess i have no time to update my blog.

YESTERDAY during dinner
I have cooked black bean soup with pork bone and the pork bone i bought got lotsa meat. Normally, kit loves to eat those meat by dipping it on soya sauce.
Ryan saw Kit eat those pork bone meat and he says :
Ryan: "Kim chuu yuk....suiii" (I dunno how to translate Kim in english here...so i am trying to translate to the closest.. "squeeze pork meat....water")
FIL, MIL, Kit and myself: ?????
after few seconds..i managed to get what he said..
ME: ohhhh...hey u sek chuu yuk dim see yau eh (he wants to eat the pork meat by dipping the meat on the soya sauce)
smart little one...he made his own words...he doesn't know how to say the right words as in... "kiap chu yuk dim see yau" (taking the pork meat using chopstick and dip in the soy sauce..)
soy sauce ..he said water...walau eh..

Mil was carrying him front way as in Ryan sleeping straight on her arms... and MIl jokingly said...

He is saying that he is garbage....and ask grandma to throw garbage...he said that because every thursday whenever kit has to take out the garbage...Kit usually said..tiow lap sap har..(throw garbage har)

No snow for this year's xmas.... pretty much dry one eh... i am not sure this is good news or bad news..but definitely good one for me..coz it won't be so cold and wet lor..hehehehe
We spend our xmas at Kit's sis place in Mississaua....infact, i am writing this post from my sil's computer...we have stayed overnite for the last 2 days liao...
Our xmas eve was pretty good...i have cooked lamb curry and sil made viatnamese spring roll and chinese herb soup. Preety much chinese style of xmas dinner..kekekek
Xmas we had turkey at Kit's cousin place in Bayview. It was great..Kit's cousin is a great cook! we had turkey, chinese spring roll, roast beef, fried noodle, salad, bean salad...
the best part is ..she made all those dishes herself! I really salute her eh! actually she can open up a restaurant! :)
Today, boxing day, kit got up early with his younger bro, Hol, to staples and loblaws to get somethign they want. I have stayed home coz Ryan was still snoozing away. After around 10 plus..Kit got back and had his bfast and out we go again to Walmart. It was a total disappointment...coz we didn't get anything that really cheap.
Good news in away la..coz save money lor :)
Ryan is having a blast coz he loves his uncle so much that he totally forgot abt us. Poor Hol coz he was soo drained from playing with Ryan.
Of course both of us, kit and i are having a great time of baby free! hahahah...

While waiting for the good news...the next subject i have to do is Introduction to Anthropology, Psychology and Sociology... walau..name also so very gaya one... i really dunno what else to pick...so i pick this one.
I am doing this one in order to get my ontario high school diploma.. furtheremore psychology is one of the subject i will learn in nursing..
so i thot this can help me.
All together it has 4 units..the first unit..the folder darn thick! like the telephone directory book....
but i think it will be interesting..not as boring lor.. ;)

Wohoooooooooooooooooooooooooo! i finnally got my result and i just applied for my course. All i have to do now is wait and continue studying for another 2 subjects in order to get Ontario, canada High school diploma..just for the fun of it ler..coz i have several months before i start the nursing course in sept. :)
I got 83% for English paper and 96% for my Biology paper...hehehehe..pai seh... never thought i can get so high for my biology one.
I am soo happy now and such a big relief Phewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
I have to wait till next march in order to know whether i will get into the course or not...Please everyone..pray for me!

Last weekend we spent it at my SIL's place..coz on Saturday nite, we had to attend Kit's company Christmas dinner. It was splendid and i had a load of fun! The restaurant served Portugese cuisine..something new for me.. Food tasted not bad..but not really great ..great for me..
We started with soup..dunno what kind soup is that... then greek salad. Next was baked fish and some western rice.
The fish was good! I thought the fish was the main meal... me wallap la everything...i even skip the bread while having the soup.
Walau..after the fish, came the steak!! my goodness...i can hardly eat the steak man..i didn't eat it...
but Kit was like finish everything! coz he is crazy over steak...he was not supposed to eat beef due to his religion thingy...but..outside..he dun care ler..kekekek
then after that came the deserts...waffle with ice cream..that also i didn't take...
i was soo fulll liao... but i cannot miss one thing..
COFFEEE! hahahah i must have the coffee..gee they had the cappucino and expresso ...woah..of coz i attacked la.. ( like those suah pak kau only (like monkey just came out from the cage)) heheheh...
kit had expresso and i had cappucino lor...
so of coz both of us end up cannot sleep at nite..hahaahahah..i didn't get to sleep whole nite..so Sunday was soo tired...
Luckily FIL made malaysian kopitiam kopi o..wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh again my eyes wide open after 2 cups..haahahahah ;)

Overall our weekend was alright... at first i thought i will not enjoy it coz have to meet the in-laws ..(they got back last tuesday dec 12 but stayed at their daughter's place..) which is good news la..kekekek

THANK GOD! i really hope things will really work out for us... Because..i really wanna have a mother figure with me..coz my mom passed away when i was 14 years old..soo it will be splendid if we can get along! :)

This morning when i got to know that i couldn't pick up the result..i was very dissappointed till i dunno what to do next.
My whole day was a mess. I know i am very bad at adapting in situations...this is really bad side of me.
We are supposed to visit my previous neighbour Nelly this evening..but when i called her..she prefered that i visit her during the afternoon..so again.. another mess up plan..hahaahha
i guess today, God is teaching me a lesson to be more flexible.

So.. i was soo moody abit and dunno what to do... i can't sit still..and i have to do something...

I know i need her to take care of Ryan for me when i go to school.. but..there are issues between me and my mil. Or should i say she has issues with me rather. I know she doesn;t like me at all. Tried very hard to be somebody's DIL... Sugar! i tell u..is hard to please someone who doesn't really like u at all!
I know i will be stronger and smarter if i can get through this challenge/battle/situation.... i need all the strength and patience in the world!
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa.... i am free abit now liao..today i just handed in my exam for biology. Waiting for the result to come in next week, then i can start apply for my course!
I am on time...yay!! Actually all the five books of biology, i did pretty good eh... i am proud of myself...
first book i got 99%, second i got 93%, third book and fourth book i got 97% and fifth book i got 100%. Being sucked at science... (only managed to get C5 for my SPM general science in malaysia), these results are actually good for me! :)
I am waiting for the exam result only.. hopefully everything goes well and next week i can apply for the nursing course!
And if everything goes well... will be starting the nursing course in SEPT 07.
Things to do after i get the acceptance letter:
1)Need to go take up CPR lesson and get the certificate (one of the requirement for the course)
2)Learn Driving( yea..pai seh..already 28 liao..i still haven't get my license)
3)Apply for Canadian Citizenship
4)Get ready for going back to school :)
Hopefully, next year will be a totally diferent year for me. I know it will be hard for me as in balancing both studies and family. Just pray hard that God will guide me and give me the strength to do it!
2 years only.. i just need 2 years..then things will start getting better and better :)

As u all know..Xmas is approaching... so presents ...toys..clothings ,etc etc..
This evening, i thought i wanna take a break from all the studying and taking care of Ryan...
I told Kit that we will go to the mall for ..just window shopping..getting fresh air and look see around.
Every time we go to Walmart,we have to stop at the toyland section for our king here..
Nothing different this time, except that bit crowded with parents and kids at this section compared to before.
Parents got headache as in what to buy for their kids for xmas... i saw one calling home asking the wife which is the exact model that their son need... and there is this couple..with 2 of their daughters...going through aisle by aisle of the toy departments asking what their daughters want....
it seems that price is not an issue anymore here...walau eh... back in my time...i dun really recall that i ever had this kind of privilege.
Well, we are no different from those parents except..we still look at the price tag... we are looking for toys below 20 bucks for Ryan...hehehe..al cheapo ler.. what to do.. Single income only nya...i am not working yet...and we are not printing money here.

Ryan getting so tall now..n alot more talkative than before... lotsa funny stuff can come from him..for example..whenever we watch chinese movies... he will say "yat sei sei" that's his version of chinese movies and chinese words.
n he improve his english pronounciation liao..thanks to TREEHOUSE TV..hahah...he watch every morning n pick up a lot of words from there.. :)
he is getting "lemak" also... everytime when i cough, he will bring my thermos for me..ask me to drink water... he will say.."yum cha mummy"(drink tea: apparently he thought i have tea inside the thermos) and if i eat chili...he will say..."lat lat ar mummy" (spicy ar mummy) and he will bring his water bottle for me so that i can drink water from it..
whenever he does that... my heart melts!!!

Tonite is the haloween nite...we didnt take Ryan out trick or treating coz Kit thought Ryan is still young for that.
So we give out candies instead. At about 6 pm, Kit pour out the candies into the bowl and told Ryan to get ready to give out candies...
At that time RYan was still not sure what is going on. So both father and son getting ready and open the front door waiting for the kids to come and get their candies.
Some are cute and some didnt even dressed up! What was worst was...those teenagers...they dare to come out trick or treating... i thot this event is for little ones..
hmmm ...wonder!?
Anyway..what i am so surprise abt tonite was...Ryan actually had fun giving out candies to little ones..he even got exicted!
every kid he met at the door, he will say..tick ker treat...here u go... after he threw the candies into their bags..

This morning i handed in my first book of biology, which i think i did it very badly...not sure i can pass or not for that book...sigh..double headache here...
i have planned to ask John, the english teacher... which i assumed he will be marking Biology as well, about how i can get help if i dun understand the subject or something...

Me: Biology is way tougher than English... how can i get help if i need some help?
John: Hhmmph....well, i dun think u can get any help...that is why they call independent study.

Yesterday nite Kit put Ryan to sleep in his own room. So, this morning abt 7 plus morning he woke up and came in to our room and fuss abt his wet diaper. Kit got up and change his diaper and carry him to our bed to join us. We didn't feel to get up yet coz it was cold downstairs and cozy in bed..hehehe..so, Ryan join us and lying in the midlle of the bed.
We were playing and goofing around and out of nowhere kit started to sing ...( kit is not a good singer..he sing out of tune) ..he sang twinkle twinkle little star..which is Ryan's fav... Before kit could sing the 3rd line...all of a sudden Ryan said this:
Stop it.... Sleep!
LOL!! we laugh till our stomachache..i have no idea where he learn that phrase eh...the thing is he knows when to use it!

I have finished all units for English..and ready for the exam. Monday i handed in my last assignment for the last unit and wanted to schedule for my exam date but.... the teacher gave me the whole booklet of exam for me to bring home!
Walau..first time for me that i can do my exam at home and at my own pace. So cool! but of course i have to do it fast because i need to make some time for biology!
The exam got 22 questions...have to write plays, analysis..all the crap stuff la.. but i am getting there...i have finished 11 questions liao...half more to go!
Planned to hand in next tuesday! this weekend is thanksgiving weekend..whooohooo..holiday time for us! will go toronto to visit my aunt!
We like to ask Ryan who buy the toys, snacks or chocolate and he will answer who bought it.

On Monday i have to hand in my assignment and we went for a bus ride again..wo hooo..ehehhe..and of course..he wanted to stop by at No Frills .. well, i need to do some grocery shopping too..so he wanted the Kinder Egg chocolate..inside the choc came with a toy.
So today i ask him
Me : peen kor mai choco? (who bought choco (chocaolate : ryan's version))
Ryan: Choco mai!
Me: ???!! confuse...
i asked him again
Me: peen kor mai choco?
Ryan : Mummy mai! then he showed me the toy the he got from the choco and he said
Ryan: CHoco Mai!
hahahhaa... so cute.... he doesn't understand the free gift terms..so he thought that chocolate bought the toy for him!

This incident happened last week on Sunday. Before i begin, let me intro some facts first. Ryan is a daddy boy and almost everyday he will wake up together with Kit during the weekdays.. (that is like 6.30 am) He wants to kiss kiss and huggie huggie his daddy before his daddy goes to work. If kit didn't kiss or hug him, he will cry till as if ppl hit him or something. Very "lemak" this boy... well..my fault..hahaha..coz i teach him to express him feelings too much liao.. coz i fear like he doesn't know how to express his feelings like his daddy..i dun want that...i want him to share his mind with us when he is like teenager..so i think i should start now..kekeke
Anyway, back to the story... so daddy will tell him...
Daddy: Daddy fun kong ar....fai fai fun (daddy has to go to work...will come back fast)
Ryan: huggie huggie ar,
Daddy: Okie okie...*hugggie huggie him* okie la..daddy fun kong (kit make his move to the door)
Ryan: Screaming.. kiss kiss ar
Daddy : oke okie...daddy come back and give him kiss kiss..on both cheeks and on the mouth too. (dadddy move towards the door again)
Ryan: Kiss kiss ar (what he wants now is..he want to kiss his daddy back)
Daddy: walk back to ryan and let ryan kiss him...
The whole thing will cause kit abt 3-4 mins ...before he can actually walk out the door.
This is not wat actually happened last Sunday. What actually happened was :
I was busy reading my book and kit was watching dvd...suddenly i heard Ryan saying
Ryan: Fun kong ar... bye bye....kiss kiss ar..huggie huggie ar
(he sling Kit's lunch bag on his shoulder and walk to me and told me this)
Me: Nei fun kong ar? okie....bye bye..fai fai fun ar.... kiss kiss mommy first ( you go to work ar? okie bye bye... come back faster ar)
Ryan: hai hai ar.... (shoe shoe ar) he walks towards the door and ask me to take his shoe for him
Ryan: Cher see (car keys)
ME: Cher see? nei you char cher ar? (Car keys? u want to drive car?)
Ryan: Cher see ar...fun kong ...fai fai fun ..(car keys ar...go to work..come back fast) and he blew kisses to me.
ME & KIT: LOL
this is what RYan do almost everyday since last sunday...he will pretend that he will go to work..sometimes kit will ask him where u go to work...then he cannot answer then he will say..fun kong ar..then kiss u till ur cheek wet.

Today is our 9 years of anniversary of being together :) It's been 9 years already ! Well, time really flies.. eh..
We didn't do much but Kit did surprise me with this :) I was busy doing my assignment, Kit surprised me with my fav carnation :) Yippieeeeeee..hehehe..never thought that he will do that..ahhahaah..
Actually, we kinda celebrated earlier on saturday nite, we went out for dinner at Harvest Moon Chinese Restaurant . We had Cantonese Fried noodle with crab meat and seafood congee. Ryan loves the congee.

Three of us are sick. Started with Kit with sore throat lead to cold and flu. Ryan being so attach to his daddy, he cannot run away from the virus.. so Ryan ended up having runny and stuffy nose. I was the last one caught the virus. Sigh... now three of us having trouble to sleep at nite esp Ryan. Luckily he didn't fuss much...he just kept awake and want to watch tv all nite. Ha... poor me and kit take turns to accompany him..making sure that he is okie. We did give him the medicine..but i guess the medicine not working at all.
Today we changed the second one. Kit got better already. I got worst today. Kit took all the medicine and left me nothing. I suffered last nite and today.
Not easy to take care a sick kid while u r sick as well. My GOD! i wish i had someone that can help me today. I wish i leave nearby to my aunt or sis or whoever!
Two days already...i didn't touch the book. Didn't have the strength at all. I am running late man... i hope i can make it!
Wohooo... I took Ryan for a public bus ride for the second time. Well, the first time happenend sometime in JUly...that time i had no choice to go to the District School Board to exchange the english workbook.. I was soo terrified ..coz worrying that Ryan won't behave and fuss alot. yea..i am very chicken to bring Ryan out alone. I need Kit to be there with me. I mean to short distances i am okie..like to the park or Nofrills.. (groceries store) ..but a bus ride?
The first time ..it went alright..he behave soo much...quietly sat on my lap when we were on the bus :)
i was so surprised and glad!
After i took the book, Ryan asked me to buy him some fries from MCD.. ha! no wonder he behaved so good ler.. ;P
ANyway, today we ride the bus again. I just finished my 3rd book and i have to go to this place call Red hill centre to hand in my assignment and take the 4th book.
We have to take 2 different busses. Yesterday nite i was soo worried and stressed out abt the ride again! One thing i have to give credit to busses services here... they have time schedules that u can check and be on time at the particular bus stop..
Compared to Malaysia? boy oh boy..i won't take bus with Ryan in malaysia!
Once again, he was a good..no no..great !! I am soo proud and happy..
So when we got back, i brought him to Nofrills buy him something. He picked one box of Kellogs honey and oat munchies... okie ler...since he soo great ! :)

Lately, Ryan has developed a new toy, talking on the phone... not on the toy phone...a real phone.
He likes to take our cordless phone , walking around and pretending to talk on the phone... exactly like those "ah beng" negotiating big business..kekekek very funny..i just wish i can record those moments...

Ryan is getting more and more independent each day. Started last week, he can wear his own pants, take out his shoes, feed himself (soup, rice, bread with egg, yogurt). I am so proud of him eventhough he make a lot mess when he try to feed himself. I dun mind the cleaning..is all worth it. :)
Lately, he is helping me out with the chores, bringing the dust pan to me when i sweep the floor... help me to water the plants, and even take out the weeds! Unbelievable! I just wish he will continue doing this when he is older...hehehehe
On Sunday, we went to Centre Island in Toronto for a ferry ride and beach fun. Ryan of coz had the most fun that day. Didn't manage to take lots of pics. That's our first vacation this year. I was so busy with my studies.. I finally finished it yesterday. Going to submit it today and get another book :(

I am going very slow with my assignments. The english course has 4 units all together. Each unit or book, has 5 lessons. Each lesson has 4 support questions and 1 Key question. All i have to do is answer all the 5 lessons Key questions and handed in.
After i finish a book, i only get to get the second book or unit.
Rite now i am at first book second lesson only. Sigh...very cham ler... headache...dun feel like studying at all. Getting old..brain also bit jam here and there liao. I just finished typing the second lesson key question. Don't think i can continue the lesson 3.
Man i am bit frustrated.
ANyway, just wanna let out a bit..hehehe... Well, Ryan is getting taller nowadays.. and he talks a lot lately. Learned lotsa chinese words.. of course chinese words...he only speaks cantonese..hehehee..
I tried to teach him both cantonese and english..but he got confuse easily. He picked up his cantonese faster than english.
But he learned how to sing fast...but his pronounciation of those english words is very bad...didn't get it properly.
Oh well, he is only 2 and a half.. hopefully he can get better :)
On saturday, my neighbour Mara were out doing her gardening. All of a sudden, heavy rain poured down.. but she continued coz she said she has no time to do it except for today.
So, my dear son, kept calling "Arra, (MARA) ... okkk kei ar...sapp sappp (house ar ..wet wet)
what he meant was...go inside the house.. u r getting wet.
but poor Ryan, Mara didn't understand what he said...soo again he didn't get any response from her..

I have no time to blog lately and i am kinda exhausted too. I have to study at nite plus taking care of Ryan day time.
Don't feel good at all. Our lives has totally changed..it is hard to live with someone else especially u were soo used to ur own style and way of doing things.
My PIL are okie so far...but there are things here and there that i cannot avoid it... is just like they mind their own business and i mind my own business..
Ryan is doing very well..he has learned alot lately. He managed to recognized alphabets A-T...he is getting there.
Everyday, i tried to teach him new stuff and play with him. He is more fascinated with the remote control car that daddy bought for him.
He will say to me everyday by pointing at the remote control car :
RYan : charge teen ar (charging the battery ar)
ME : hai lor... you charge teen ..em hai ..em wan tak ka (yes...need to charge the battery if not u cannot play later)
*** actually, the battery is fine...is just that i dunno how to operate the car...u know..kit always play with Ryan..not me..so i dare not touch those gadget stuff..
i felt bad..kekekek... i know i am bad mother...i shouldn't lie to him.
He is fine...luckily he didn't fuss abt it...is just that when Kit got home..he will fuss abt it..and kit has to let him play..

This incident happened 2 days ago during evening time.
Everyone was outside the yard enjoying the nice weather. I was watering my lawn, mil weeding the lawn, FIL & Kit were inside the garage doing something.
As for Ryan, he was runing up and down the driveway, having his fun like as if he was locked up in the prison for days...hhehehehe
As i was watering the lawn, my neighbour Bertha (70 plus old woman) very nice but has a strong attitude abt everything..but overall she is nice to us :)
Normally, whenever i see her come out the backyard i will greet her by saying "Hi Bertha"
So, Ryan thought everytime he sees Bertha, he has to address Bertha.. "hi bertha"..
And to explain further the incident, we have a bush fence that is abt 6 foot tall in between bertha's house and ours.
As i was watering the lawn, Bertha came out from the house and water her plants as well.
But i couldn't see her well, so i did not greet her, is not nice to greet somebody when that somebody couldn't see u at all... (coz the fence is covering up)
So.. what happened was :-

Ryan : iii ertha
Me: aunty bertha teng em tou... kong dai sang tit (aunty bertha cannot hear u, u call her louder)
Ryan: iii ertha (louder tone)
No response from Bertha so far...
Me : aunty bertha tai emm tou nei..hei chiin tit (aunty bertha cannot see u, go further front where she can see u)
Ryan walk further fron where there is no fence, and...
Ryan : iiii ertha
Still no response from her...
At this moment..ryan was kinda upset a little bit...
Ryan : em kong la.. *he walked away and looked for daddy* (em kong = dunna wanna talk anymore)
LoL... this little fella...i was surprised he said that... what he meant was... i am not going to call anymore... wasting my time and effort..coz he was not getting any response at all..
poor boy...
we were laughing so hard..

Actually Berta didn't see him and didn't hear him well..that's why..he got no response ...
after that..i brought him over to say hi to her..

I am going to enrol myself in the Practical Nursing Course next year. Right now i have to have my Malaysian high school & Australia degree assessed in order to get into the course.
The requirements are grade 12 (M'sia form 6) English and Science (Biology) for a mature students application..(like me)
Is pretty hard when u are a foreigner here when u want to go back to school. They make it soo hard for u to get back onto your feet.
Come on, english? sigh...that's the system here..no matter u have a Phd or what...u still have to go through their Grade 12 English.
So rite now i am studying independently at home the english.. pretty much work to do..all the reading and writing..Shakespear & stuff...
no kidding eh...
After i pass these 2 papers, i can only apply into the nursing course, which start around September 07.
Initially, my plan is going back to school around Jan, coz their intakes are Jan & Sept.. but the jan one are fulled now!
So i have to wait!
good also...in a way coz i get to spend more time with Ryan and teach him more stuff.
My mil will take care of Ryan for me once i start school...
but she doesn't understand English.. so is very hard for her to teach Ryan the basic kindy stuff.
It will be tougher for Ryan because he has 2 languages to master, rite now we speak mostly Cantonese to him..and his english is not very good.
so, Ryan might find some difficulties when he starts school.
I am doing my best to teach him the basic english and make his life easier... :)

My life is getting more busier these days because i need to handle more stuff now. My nights will be hectic and tired. It's been awhile for me since the last time i handle school stuff. My brain getting really rusty...hehehe
Oh yea... i totally forgot that i helped Kit to study Company and Business law for his C.E.T. exam.. (which he managed to pass eh!!) :)
oh well, good training for me rite now...so next year it won't be that hard anymore :)
I chose Nursing because i have a passion for this field since when i was young. I love to take care of people and i like to hang around with old folks.
I pursue business field after my SPM because everyone told me Nursing back home not really a good position.

Least nursing job overhere is good.. the pay is not bad eh...they pay u starting salary with 39k a year & there are plenty of job everywhere.
The most important thing is..i can work part time and spend more time with Ryan :)

-ice cream : for everyone..is summer time! :)
-frozen meat like drumsticks, minced pork, port.. all been washed and put in a bag for daily cooking
- ice : for everyone who need it...summer time now :)
- frozen mixed vegetables for cooking spaghetti
- a box of baking soda..to keep the stinko smell away...

err..this one really hard..coz i dun have a car...so it will be kit's car..
