that car gave us a lot of problem and Kit has been very stressful driving it. Kit has to drive long distance to work ..so it is not safe at all.
We decided to change car. In fact, tomorrow Kit and FIL are going to test drive 2 Toyota Camry 2002.
I won't be going coz I have to stay home and study for my exams. Will be having one on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
On top of that i have 3 assignments dues on the same day too..
Really chialat man i tell ya... didn't get to do a lot of stuff today..mainly get the house chores done. Kit helped me half and I did half. I managed to get my scrubs or uniform for clinical placement, which is going to be in 2 weeks time!!!

I am truly surprise with my exam and assignment results. I just did the first exam for Psychology on Monday and I got my result yesterday. I was very impressed with what i got .. 85%
I totally surprised..because i only get to study on last sunday afternoon. It was very tough for me when it comes to timing.
As for my assignments, i got 2 assignments full marks.. i never get full marks for my assignments b4 during my studies for my degree...
I seriously work my butt off for this course. Now, every morning i got up at 4 am to do some extra studying...in order to catch up.
I seriously have no life... except for studying and family time.

After i have attended college for the 3rd week I have came across with a lot of weird and strange attitude people.
Maybe it is because I have been cooped up in the house for years and I find it very difficult to handle people like this.
I am talking about the students in my program. One gal from X country came to Canada for a year and she is trying to learn English because English is a second language for her. She told me she signed up for this program because she wanted to learn English. I was shocked when I heard that because she can totally learn English from Communication classes or specific English classes. She is paying like almost $20k to learn English?
Wait till your hear this, the juicy part is she is not prepare to bath people or clean poop or pee or bath male patient because she does not know she has to do that!
HELOOOO! What is NURSING? DUH! I rest my case...
There is another one gal..typical westerner and Hamiltonian. Filthy rich gal who is brown nose and acted like she is superior.

I am back..i have abandoned my blog for days. I am so swamped with school work. A lot of readings and assignments to do. Practically every week I have assignments due.
First semester, I am loaded with 6 subjects : Psychology, Biology, Professional Development, Practicum (Nursing Experiences), Practical Nursing Theory, and Communications.
Monday till Friday, whenever I come back from home, I have to rush to prepare for tomorrow's work.
I know I know..i am complaining..but I am just so grateful that I don't have to work part-time like other students because that will be very hard on me if I do that.
I still have my weekends to summarize everything for the week.
I am getting there, as in getting used to the routine and everything.
Poor Ryan has to get up early but he had his fun with mixing around with other kids. He has learned a lot of activities especially songs and speaking more English.
Overall, I am okie... :)

Life is not going to be easy for me this coming 2 years because i have to juggle between school and family.
I have classes from Monday till Friday and of course I will be loaded with assignments, tests, and exams.

I really feel bad as in letting Ryan stay at the centre for the whole day.. coz we send him there at about 7 am.

This is Ryan's first graduation...of what? heheheh.. We graduated from the RHYME Time that we attended for more than a month already. It was fun and we had learned a lot of songs together and met lots of friends!

What a week i had i tell ya! We had a long weekend last week, Labour Day on Monday and we had SIL and BIL over for BBQ on Saturday.
The BBQ was splendid, this time i did not use my dad's recipe for chicken wings because Kit said he wanted to try different recipe.
We marinated the chicken wings with Diana's Honey Garlic sauce, the ribs with President Choice's Texas Barbecue sauce, and the pork chop, we used Diana's Steak spice and while grilling it we spread some President's Choice Cajun spice on it.
All tasted great! MIL made some spring rolls but she put too much meat..so it was kinda not very good. I still prefer spring rolls with lots of vegies!
Sunday we went over to SIL's place in Mississauga and PIL did not follow this time because they had plans with their friends in Hamilton for buffet. Omigosh..i had a wonderful time there. NO tension in the air! ehehehhe... We went there because we wanted to buy a wireless router from BestBuy...they were on sale for $49.99.
We had dinner there and we talked so freely without having the fear that PIL not like it and stuff like that!
Came monday, we visited Lilian (my exboss) who she had a minor stroke a month ago. She is recovering very fast and she already went back to work this week part time.
I am glad that we went to see her because.. it has been a while the last time we met.
She was the one who invited me for Rod Stewart's concert few months ago.
We all slept very early on monday nite ..i think it was around 9 pm...hehehe yea because Kit has to send Ryan to day care around 7 am the next day.
I did not sleep well that night ..dunno why ..maybe got excited going to college..hahaha..i managed to get 2 hours sleep only...woke up around 5.45 am Tuesday morning.
Long story short.... Ryan doing alrite with the waking up early morning..Thank God and I was very impressed and proud of him because he did not fuss at all.
I did not have any problem waking him up early.
Kit has start 1/2 hour later due to sending Ryan to Day care.
As for me, boyyyyyyyyyyy! My orientation is not totally fun at all. Basically it was way too much information they blaaaaaa it at us.
My college, Mohawk college is the biggest college in Ontario..that has 4 campuses.
My course located in McMaster University campus called Institute Applied Health Sciences. The whole campus was hugeeeeeeeeeeeeee and i really mean HUGE!
Day 1 i was lost and i was walking for about 20 minutes to find the right building.
MAC students was having tons of fun for their orientation week.. but as for us Mohawk students..we had NONE!
We we locked inside one classroom after another for hours.. loaded with information..
such as book list, who to go to for help, how to use their library, how to use the learning resource room (all the mannequins for practices purposes) etc etc.
Guess how many books we have to use for one subject? we have about 5 -8 books for one nursing subject!
Geeze, where is the money come from man?!
I am still overwhelmed with the whole thing... Today I am off because we have to study for next tuesday test!
Can u believe it? We already have a test what class starts!
Worst part is...I had to do math! which i really suck at it...
Kit has to do some tuition with me...if not i will be totally doomed!

Luckily he recover faster than i do. Is just that, he is not eating and drinking well at day care.
So, his tummy got a little bit "wind" inside.
On weekend, he threw up whatever he eats and ..he didn't eat much at all.
I am very worried now....
Sigh...it gives me chills in the bone when Ryan is not feeling well.
I rather have all the sickness than him having any!
Thank God that PIL is not working today...so that MIL can watch over Ryan for me and i can have some rest.

Last Friday, Ryan was sent to his day care for second time and this time he did good. He cried for about 5 minutes and he did not puke!
ahahha...He had fun that day coz one of the kids there celebrated her birthday there. They have birthday cakes. How cool was that?!
When I reached the day care to pick him up that day at 5:20 pm, he was busy helping the day care providers cleaning up. He was so focus on cleaning up till he did not see me or hear me.
I have called him 3 times he did not hear me at all.. ;)
So, I have to wait till he finished and then I started to call him and say hi to him..
He was surprise and then his happy face turned upside down.. I dunno why he cried when he sees me..maybe because he thought of when i left him in the morning.
I have to carry him and asked him why..he didn't say anything...just so glad to see me and ready to go home with his tears rolling down on his cheek.

Ryan was alright on last Friday. The care provider told me he cried for like about 20 minutes and threw up as well.. :(
But after that he was alright. He blend in alright with other kids. He played water and he got to go out to play the water splash as well. He was totally a happy camper!

When I picked him up at 5 pm that day, as we were walking out..there was this little gal..i think she was about a year or 2 older than Ryan..running towards us and hugged Ryan. How sweet! The little gal and her mom were leaving at the same time too. She met Ryan at the parking lot and ran towards Ryan and give Ryan a big squeeze hug!
Ryan was happy too!
When RYan saw me that time, he told me that i got disappear cannot find me and he cried.
He was a little bit upset about it. I told him i did not disappear..i went to school..
I prepared him like weeks b4..but still..the whole thing cannot go inside his head..hehehe
SO I ask him again:

When i came into the house..it was empty..and so quiet..I am not used to it..I really dunno what to do now..

Is it because she is jealous?
Is it because she hate me?
Is it because she dislike me?
Why every single time when I am doing something right and good for myself and my family, she will utter out words of discouragement and negative stuff to put me down?
Words such as.......
"I don't think you can handle the Nursing job"
"It is too hard for you"
"Your cooking is too oily"
"You should not let Ryan eat this"
"You are too fat"
"Your life will be tough when you starts school"
"You better loose weight if not your husband will leave you for other"
"The house is too dirty"
"Eating western food is no good"
"When I took care of my 4 kids, they never got sick" "You are not doing it right with Ryan"
I am so sick and tired with her negative statements! What I have been doing since the day I met her are all from my sincere heart and good to her.
I have never treated her bad ...not even ONCE!
I just cannot understand why must she do this to me?
Am I that bad? Or is it because that I am not the one that she would like Kit to marry?
I am not very good at my emotional intelligence. I am the type of person that suck at negative comments.
I like to be like by everyone. ...and I know I cannot expect everyone to like me.
But..someone who hates me and live with me ...this is hard!
I have been keeping my silence whenever she utter those ugly words...
But how much longer can I keep my silence?
How much damage she had done to my emotional being?
I have been telling myself, she is different...ignore her... let her be...but seriously, I cannot avoid those knife sharp of words that stab into my heart!
The thing is.....she will treat me nice when she need something from me.
I really do not understand what she wants from me?
She always said that lots of her friends daughters in-law are evil and abuse them...
Now..am I abusing her?
This is heartbreaking .... I have lost my mother when I was 14 years old...and I treated her like my own.
Why....
Everyone ask why I let them stay with me? Well, I have to..they are Kit's parents...we cannot just shoo them away.
No one can help me in this matter..
Only 2 options:
1) Pray to God that she change!
2) Pray to God that I have more patience and wisdom to handle her everyday..
God is working on His own timing and ways..is never my time or my way.
I am praying for more patience, wisdom, more E.Q., a bigger heart to oversee everything, and forgive and accept her.
My Prayer:
Oh Father in heaven, I humbly come before you to ask for YOUR forgiveness and mercy. I thank You for a wonderful family you blessed me with. Please bless me with wisdom, more E.Q., a bigger heart to face my MIL. I commit her to You and I know You will handle her for me. I know this is not her doing, is just the enemy doing to put me down. Please comfort me and protect me whenever the evil is doing their work.
I know I have YOU as my shield and comfort.
I commit my family to YOU and ask for YOUR blessings and sealed my family with LOVE, HARMONY, and PEACE.
For YOU my LORD, You are my ROCK and SAVIOUR!
I shall not FEAR the evil but YOU!

This is what actually happened during the day everyday... the house is a mess. Who is the culprit? The pictures tells it all :)
I made this kueh today for lunch. Mee Hoon Kueh with Chinese chives is a type of Chinese pancake that you fried.
All you have to do is mix all purpose flour with water and little bit of salt to taste, and I have added and egg (this is optional) and also Chinese chives.
Tasted great with chili sauce :)

I was so busy past few days as in get myself register for my Nursing course and Ryan in day care.
Officially, Ryan will be attending day care next Friday 10th August 2007..yup..i have to get him used to it. It will be once a week kinda thing till September where he will be attending 5 days a week.
I also managed to applied Child care Subsidy for it..total day care cost is 32 bucks a day..and government only fund us $6.80. We still have to pay $25.20 a day for it.
Oh well, better than nothing.
I am really excited for him next week. Can't wait to see how Ryan react on that day :)
Other than all that, Ryan got fever and cold on Thursday. I had to cool him down with ice pack..on that night. This is tough eh..no matter how sleepy i was..i still have to look after him. I was so worried that his febrile seizure attack him again.. THank God he is okie now..
That's why i didn't get to update my blog for so long...
I am still sleepy now too..hehehehe
I still haven't finish my assignment yet..I dunno how am I going to do everything...I really need miracle here.
Some more, PIL invited sis-in law to come over for dinner..there goes my saturday nite..i cannot study.
Luckily, Monday is a holiday, Civic Holiday. Hopefully, i can finish it all and exchange for another book.
I am so excited here because I am going back to school very soon! September 4th is the date!

Getting very near. I managed to registered and got my timetable liao. Pretty easy for the first semester :)
I get to work in hospital after 7 weeks of the course start date. How cool is that? I get to wear uniform and play with dummies! n of course..cleaning ppl's ppoop and pee (according to my MIL, my job is doing that only)
How ignorant she is huh?
This conversation happened last Thursday morning..
I was on the phone with Kit and Kit has said something that made me mad.. My facial reaction was very obvious...and when i hang up...this happened:
Ryan: Chou meh? Daddy ar? Daddy yai yai ar? (WHy? What happened? Is it daddy? Daddy notty?)
Me: *keeping quiet* ....
Ryan: Daddy ar? Daddy yai yai ar?
Me: No.. mou yer la (no..nothing la)
Ryan: Mou sheoung kon ..mou sheong kon (Nevermind, Nevermind)
*he patted my shoulder when he said that*
Ryan always calm me down and try to make me happy again whenever i am sad or angry..
Amazing or not? My 3 year old son doing that?
I am so ashamed as in I do not know how to control my emotion at all...
BUt i am glad and thankful that God bless me this beautiful child! He is like an angel to me!
